Noah is 4!

I can't believe Noah is 4!!! He had a fun cowboy swimming party!

Noah's fun cousins came to the party. And things got really interesting! Gabe and Noah were loving every minute of it! They thought the big boys were so cool ;)

Gabe is trying to copy their jumps!

Linzi and Jen

Noah asked if Aunt Tippy would get him Incredible Hulk gloves. How can you say no to that face :)

And this is what his mommy, daddy and Kaitlyn got him!

Happy Birthday, Noah!

Birthday With The Girls

My sister planned a little girls' night out with some friends for my birthday! We headed to Cheesecake Factory for dinner and dessert! Yummmmm! And then did a little shopping afterwards! We are all so busy now. So, I really treasure the time when I get to catch up with these sweet friends! Love you all!

I had to drag Annie in this picture :) She never wants her picture taken. But she has to on my birthday ;)

So cute :)

Birthday Date!

A couple of weeks ago, Danny talked us into trying sushi at his birthday dinner. We ended up loving it! So, Jeff said he wanted to take me to eat sushi for my birthday date :) We went to Piranha Killer in Arlington. We had the cutest waitress. We told her we didn't know anything about sushi. She was so excited to help us and give us her recommendations. She could tell I was struggling with the chopsticks. So, she discreetly brought me a fork ;) Jeff and I had a blast! It's always fun to try something new :) We went and saw a late movie after dinner. It was a nice night. We always look forward to a little quiet time to talk. Although we find ourselves talking about the kids most of the time :)

Family Birthday Celebration

I feel very spoiled after so many birthday celebrations!!!! I picked Steak and Ale for my birthday dinner. It was wonderful celebrating with my family. We were a little loud for most of the patrons! I guess I should have picked a louder place for all of the kids we brought! But we had a nice evening! And I am glad I picked this restaurant because I heard today on the radio that Steak and Ale has declared bankruptcy :(

Jeff had flowers delivered to the house. So sweet :)

Everyone came over to our house for cake. Thank you for making my birthday so special!!!

Saying Bye to Aunt Margaret

We had a wonderful visit with Aunt Margaret! It was nice to have her come to Texas! Margaret, Ray, Linda, Danny and Brandy all came over to our house for one last visit before she headed back to Seattle. Brandy brought a great peach cobbler and we made some more homemade strawberry ice cream. We had a great time visiting and playing dominoes! We look forward to seeing Margaret again soon! Maybe I can talk Jeff into a trip to Seattle soon ;)

Power Lab VBS!

Emma and Gabe attended VBS with their cousins at Victory Family Church. They had the best time! The theme this year was Power Lab. The children's minister dressed up like a crazy scientist to start each day. My kids weren't too sure about him at first. But by the end of the week, they thought he was so funny! They learned that Jesus gives them the power to be thankful, to be brave, to help others, to live forever and to tell others about Jesus. They made all of their own crafts in a science lab. One day they brought home slime! They loved that one. They made their own bouncy ball. :) It was a wonderful week! The kids learned so much and had a great time!

Gabe and Counting

We have noticed lately, Gabe loves numbers! He is always counting things. I guess he takes after his daddy and may really enjoy math. He didn't get that from me! We were in the pool a few days ago and I noticed him pointing at everyone. He was counting how many people were in the pool. He is always looking for something to count :) But he does the cutest thing with his counting. When he is counting on his fingers, his number three is a little different. Jeff says he is going to be a baseball player. Because I guess this is common is baseball so you can see it across the field. I don't know. I just know it's pretty cute!
