Our Little Rudolph!

We were swimming recently and Emma was trying to figure out how to do a somersault underwater. She came up rubbing her nose and said she hit it on the bottom of the pool. By the time we left the pool, her nose was bright red. She had really scraped it! We started calling her Rudolph, which she loved :) She said she didn't want her red nose to go away! She is definately a "cup is half full" kind of girl!"

Swimming Buddies!

We were so excited to get to see our good friends, Aimee, Brady, Belle and Bennett! We headed over to their house for a fun morning of swimming and playing! Emma and Gabe were so excited! It is always a treat to spend time with this sweet family! The kids play so well together, so us mommies get to have a nice visit too :) Thanks for having us over! We will have to do it again soon!

Noah is 4!

I can't believe Noah is 4!!! He had a fun cowboy swimming party!

Noah's fun cousins came to the party. And things got really interesting! Gabe and Noah were loving every minute of it! They thought the big boys were so cool ;)

Gabe is trying to copy their jumps!

Linzi and Jen

Noah asked if Aunt Tippy would get him Incredible Hulk gloves. How can you say no to that face :)

And this is what his mommy, daddy and Kaitlyn got him!

Happy Birthday, Noah!

Camp Cousins - Day One

My sister and her husband are official house flippers now! At least they are in my book! Jen and Kasey bought a forclosure a couple of years ago. They repainted and put new carpet in. After they were finished with everything, the house looked so cute! We have a friend who has been bugging them since they moved in to sell it for a profit. But they always said they were happy to stay there. Anyways, Kasey ran across another great forclosure during one of his calls. He is a police officer. He told Jen about it and they looked it up online. It was another incredible deal. So, they called a realtor who was referred by the same friend mentioned above. She asked if she could bring a couple by the next day to see their house. The couple came by and made an offer!!! All that said, my sister sold her house in a week and they are in the middle of getting this next house ready to move in! It all sounds so exciting to me! I would be a total mess. So, it is fun to live through my sister in all of her exciting house flipping adventures! I told her that KK and Noah could stay with us for a few days while my family helped with the cleaning and painting. So, today was day one of "Camp Cousins". We spent the morning and early afternoon swimming at the neighborhood pool. The kids didn't want to leave! Thank goodness I packed lunches! Because they would not have been happy leaving for lunch! They swam for 3 hours this morning!

The girls wanted to paint their own nails when we got home. Each hand was a different color ;)

Cute cowboys!

They love Bella Dancerella :)

We took the kids back to the pool after dinner. And this is the result! The boys were asleep in less than 3 minutes once we laid them down!

But this is what I found at 9:30 tonight. It is 10:30 now, and all is finally quiet...

He has got to keep up with his sister!!!

I can't believe it, but Gabe is swimming! I guess he decided if Emma can do it, I can to!!! Gabe has got quite an adventurous streak in him! Right now he loves telling mommy he is going to be a race car driver when he grows up. Oh my! Anyways, he has been experimenting with swimming recently. My parents were keeping the kids last week and my dad said he was jumping off the side and then turning swimming back to the edge. My dad said, "Gabe, why don't you go jump off of the diving board?" Gabe looked at him and said, "OK, grandad!" He went straight to the diving board, jumped off and swam to the edge! My parents couldn't believe it! But he is swimming all over now! I can already tell that boy is going to be the cause of many gray hairs ;)

July 4th - Round One!

We had such a fun July 4th this year! Very busy, but very fun!!!! We headed over to my parents that morning for lunch and swimming! My mom always puts so much thought into our family get togethers! And they are always so special!

Us... Smile, Gabe!

My parents and the kids. Gabe has his "claw" in all of these pictures! I don't think he has put this down since he got it. And he thinks it is so funny to pinch mommy's backside (I think that is the nicest way to put it) with it when she is not looking! This toy might accidently get lost pretty soon :)

Sergio, Jennifer, Beverly, Jim and Tiffany - The Smith Family

Uncle Sergio and the kids... We are so happy to have Uncle Sergio back in town! The kids are just in love with him!
My family

My crazy family! This was Jen's idea! And she told me not to put in on my blog. But it is so cute! My sister does the best monkey impersonation you will ever see! One of her many talents!

After swimming, we had a wonderful lunch. Jeff and I were supposed to bring homemade ice cream. So, we wanted to make something that tasted like sweet cream and strawberries from Marble Slab. And we succeeded! It was sooooo good! You can click here for the recipe. We made the Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and added strawberries.
During our lunch, my mom set up a cute table just for the girls. And they felt so special! They were just talking up a storm. We had a good time eavesdropping! Thanks mom and dad for a wonderful 4th!
