Camp Cousins - Day Two

We started day two of Camp Cousins a little tired... Our electricity went off around 4:30 and it woke up the girls. We got them both settled down again. But everyone was up around 6 am. But we had a nice relaxing morning and then loaded up for a trip to Dollar Tree. We took Noah when he came for a visit a few weeks before. So, Kaitlyn asked if she could go to :) The kids were so excited! The girls had me braid their hair before we left. Pretty cute :)

Emma's purchasae at Dollar Tree :)

Kaitlyn was so excited about her Tinkerbell rings and stick on earrings!

After Dollar Tree, we headed back to the pool!

The kids were all really tired after a couple of busy days. So, we decided to head to Burleson to see the progress Jen and Kasey were making on their new house. And we decided we would make a stop for ice cream too!

I told the kids it was time to leave. And look who came downstairs! A couple of little movie stars :)

The kids all fell asleep on the way there :)

After visiting with Jen and Kasey, we made a stop at Braum's for ice cream.

Noah was set on having a strawberry sundae. But when he got it, he was so dissappointed. He thought it was supposed to come in a cone. There were a few minutes of pouting...

But he ended up loving it! It was a fun day! The kids and I are exhausted. But everyone has had a great time!

Camp Cousins - Day One

My sister and her husband are official house flippers now! At least they are in my book! Jen and Kasey bought a forclosure a couple of years ago. They repainted and put new carpet in. After they were finished with everything, the house looked so cute! We have a friend who has been bugging them since they moved in to sell it for a profit. But they always said they were happy to stay there. Anyways, Kasey ran across another great forclosure during one of his calls. He is a police officer. He told Jen about it and they looked it up online. It was another incredible deal. So, they called a realtor who was referred by the same friend mentioned above. She asked if she could bring a couple by the next day to see their house. The couple came by and made an offer!!! All that said, my sister sold her house in a week and they are in the middle of getting this next house ready to move in! It all sounds so exciting to me! I would be a total mess. So, it is fun to live through my sister in all of her exciting house flipping adventures! I told her that KK and Noah could stay with us for a few days while my family helped with the cleaning and painting. So, today was day one of "Camp Cousins". We spent the morning and early afternoon swimming at the neighborhood pool. The kids didn't want to leave! Thank goodness I packed lunches! Because they would not have been happy leaving for lunch! They swam for 3 hours this morning!

The girls wanted to paint their own nails when we got home. Each hand was a different color ;)

Cute cowboys!

They love Bella Dancerella :)

We took the kids back to the pool after dinner. And this is the result! The boys were asleep in less than 3 minutes once we laid them down!

But this is what I found at 9:30 tonight. It is 10:30 now, and all is finally quiet...

The Stone Family Visit!

We recently had the Stone family come for a visit! My cousin, Vicky, lives in Oklahoma with her husband Brad and their four children, Ashtyn, Jaron, Camryn and Lincoln. We always enjoy spending time with their sweet family. They spent a couple of days with us while Brad was in Dallas for business. And then they were off to San Antonio for a fun, little getaway! I respect Vicky so much. She is such an incredible mom! She homeschools her children and I loved watching her with Ashtyn while she stayed with us. She was telling me the reasons why her and Brad feel like God wanted their family to homeschool. They want to raise children who love God and will influence the next generation with their passion for Christ. And they want to be a major influence to do this. It was really inspiring to talk to her about it! I wish we lived closer Vicky!!! We really enjoyed spending time with your family! I was so busy clicking pictures of the kids that I didn't get one of Brad and Vicky. So, here is a great one I found on Brad's facebook...

Lincoln loved this football helmet!

Ashtyn and Emma had a good time playing school!

The kids spent forever building this tower...

And had fun knocking it down!

What pretty girls!

We all headed to Parks mall to play and ride the carosul.

Emma loved this pony ;)

This would have been a perfect picture if Gabe wasn't hiding! It's always one of mine ;)

Now he is looking!

I love this picture of Vicky and Lincoln.

So cute!

Vicky braids her girls hair every night. They have the prettiest natural curly hair. So, it is a lot eaiser to braid it then deal with the tangles the next morning. When Emma saw Vicky braiding their hair, she asked if she could have her's braided also. Isn't this the cutest picture!

Sweet cousins

The boys :)

And here is where all of the kids slept! Slumber party central!

We love you guys! Come visit us again soon!
